ok so took up my old stereo, so we finally got some music, really can't live with out that!!

so with the tunes sorted, dad came up and for the pricey sum of £3.50 fixed the compressor, and also fixed the leak that it had at the same time, so it doesn't restart and scare the hell out of us every hour or so!!!!! happy days
then dad got his morris and tryed to tune it up but failed, and a flat battery didn't help things, he reckon the carb is duff, but we have already changed the carb once, because it was running all over the place, now the one that is one there is my old carb (which we took off, because my filter king was pushing too high pressure thru it and it was overflowing) which ran fine on my engine, so i think its something else other than the carb, bearing in mind this engine has been on a head on crash with the centre barrier on the motorway..... and the timing chain end is at the front, so would of took the impact...... the timing chain cover had to be changed as it was peeing out oil and the water pump as it was peeing out water, so thats probably where the problem lies...
Anyway, back to the sky, finished rubbing down the roof ready for primer

SKY BLUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
i love sky blue, its so pretty, and ifound 2 very shallow dents, and a few other rust spots, but its in really good nick!!
then i moved on to the front end

the roof took up most of the day to be honest!!!!
but i also took the sky decals and pinstripe off, so offically the shell has no id

and no markings

then started rubbing down the driver rear quarter
again a few rust worms, (well quite a few) and only one mayor dent so far just behind the door, at the bottom

the plan for tomorrow is to finally weld the a panels in propery, and take the spot welder up to sort it out!!, then finish the rear quarter, sort that horrible door, the rub down the rear panel, passenger rear quarter, doors and a panels, then prime!!!!! hopefully....
