I'm Enoying this thread alot. i have great respect for a Girl who knows her Cars. In the US 90% of the woman doesn't even know how to lift the hood(bonnet) on a car let alone Refurbish One. Your doing a great work. The Mini Sky and Mini Rose are one of my Favorite styles of Mini.

Cheers!!!, i love the sky and roses too, they so pretty, and rare!!!!

The car is looking awesome! Not been on here in a while and it's amazing how much you've got done. I've not touched my mini in weeks.....

Keep it up!

I hated fitting my headlining, also hate how it looks now. Mine is getting redone once the car is on the road!

Fair play for doing it though, I'm getting a pro to do mine next!

its really fiddley!!, it hasn't turned out too bad tho, there is a little bit at the back driver corner, where there was too much material, so we've folded it over so that its on the line for the stitching, and to be honest i'm really imnpressed with the kit, i think it was £40, with the c pillars, and material to cover under the rear screen, i'm gonna try and get another one from then for my green mini

thats the worse bit

i was alway told to take a hair dryer a headliner to get the wrinkles out. you might want to give it a try.

Hair dryer yes but a small heater inside the car for half a hour can work, but it looks very good if im honest. headlinings are a pain to do and to get rgt! Well looks like your well on your way and skys coming on and you been REALLY busy Emma! Amazing what some lights, windows etc does. really looking like a mini now and that paint looks stunning, like its wet its that shiney!!!!

to be honest they are really not as bright as in the pics!!!,

the sidelights in the headlights or the ice white 501 blubs, that look blue, from ebay, and on the indicators are LED flexible strips that are cable tidied onto the indicators!! they are great, i love them!!!

and that sky on ebay does look sad, but mine started like that.....

ok, bit of random weekend, my work told me at 5 on friday, that is was my last day there!!!, so i was very shocked, (espeacially as i had= just paid for the skys insurance at lunch time.......)

so then we went to london to brighton, where my shopping list was greatly reduced!!!

then monday i came home and got a call from the nice emplyment agency that i worked at rok under, to tell me i have a job as a accounts assientant starting on wednesday!! whoop whoop!!!!

so that left me with only one days less pay!!! ideal!!!, sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo unbelieviy releived and happy that i can afford to get the sky on the road and have a job!!,

it is in exeter tho which is further away, but rok and my place before that was in exeter aswell, so all is good
