Hehe! I did some work and got out there emalee! good progress made again, and be carefull with grinder and wire brushes, been there and done that as they say, had a grinding disc fall apart in the grinder once and a piece ended up in my knee! The joys of restoration is welding burns, wire brush brissels poking ya in your skin and welding flash once or twice, not to forget the crap in your nose and paint and rust in your hair, shoes etc"! Joys!
I think your doing a really good job, its hard work fighting the elements and being outside, free electric is cool tho! Keep up the good work and keep warm! Got rain tomorow they say
its dry here at the moment, so i'll pop out for a bit, and replace in the inner finch,
every mini restoration has to have atleast one scar!!, i've got one on my knee from the grinder when making the trailer!!! and the only one from the sky so far is from rough metal when i was getting the subframe mounting brackets off the boot floor on my knuckle!!!, its all good tho
you joys of restoration are SOOOO true!!!!, i got weld burn a few months ago, was a bit odd going to work with a bright red face in the middle of winter, and even worse when it all peeled off
