Tax to does runs out end of this month ie 31st july 09. but the mot is my birthday 05/08/09, so want to keep that date :D

Wont that be abit of a bummer IF it fails?

Id try to enjoy my birthday rather then be fixing a list of MOT failures lol

so i asked if tom knew when if ever theyd have them Tom said NO and no one else knows as the suppliers are Knobs

So I had a think and said Tom would my needle being dodge cause my tick over to be bad

he replied yes, so do u have hs needles and spring yeh

off i ran wipped off the dash pot left a nice puddle of power steering fluid and ran upstairs

the car was 6% co2 at tick over ahhh

so had a fiddle and now

drove back to mini sport to try and sort the fact my drivers rear wheel sticks out more than the others
so got a standrad drum went out to fit it took the drum off and realised needed new studs
so ran back in got studs then realised i wasnt the drum so took the bits back in got a refund and went to have a debate with the bodyshop man

then drove home with a big grin on ma chops as the car flies now :)

happy days

SO the post man brought me some pressies, my 88 degree thermo stat, new cooper rad cap. I Gave the car a nice clean

Then added some lead replacement addative (for fun).

Went for a long drive and What a difference. Engine temps don't go over half way, even on the motorway and in traffic. Running superb.
Then i went and redid the tracking as i have realised that falken tyres are POOOOOO have lasted 2 months of my driving
obviously too soft

your tracking needed doing and you blame the tyres?.... Falkens aren't that soft at all - more likely that the tracking being out was the cause of the accelerated wear -

If the tracking's very far out it will wear incredibly fast.... 2 moths doesn't suprise me really.

Falkens are Fabb!! :)
Boris Had Falkens on his Steelies before we got his Alloys if we had been sticking to the same width Tyres we would of stuck with the Falkens :gimme:

Any Tyres Be them the cheapest or the most expensive will wear too quickly if your tracking is out
