i was informed it was thatis blue but im unsure if they were wrong

my bday in 5th august

and my seats are stayin so there

busy couple of day spent 7 hours cleaning my car b4 himley and ended up that no one saw my mini lol

but plus point met burny, saw poo lice, monty, the beast and many more i probs forgot

got my new dizzy and coil and the steering cowling ive been after for ages

so got them all fitted and a new accelerator pedal rubber

so a great day all in all thw car did the 168 + mile journey returned 44mpg avergaged 84 mph and was a great day and the rad stayed at middle not higher

so now my car doesnt leak a ton of oil, the interiors looking better and im sooo happy

in 2 weeks im gonna be removing the engine for a small rebuild im thinking oil pump, water pump, gaskets, bearings, seals, gearbox fixes if needed, renew altenator bearings and a genral engine bay tidy up

Thats one rusty mini sir, have you tyred halfords they do a good rust treatment.

what do u mean rusty theres none now i used to work for halfrauds so i have bought my various products over the years

u normally use hamerite rust treatment gel looks like green snot but works very well

get payed this week so gonna get the new shocks, steerin rack gaitors, new water pump and may take the engine out for a clean and engine bay repaint and im gonna go see my painter friend and get an idea for the price on redoin the car may end up doing a diy paint job

hahaha lol good luck with your mini its the simple things that you appreciate when you have a mini like having central locking or hitting the apex of the corner lol

All minis have got central locking... you can lock both doors from the drivers seat lol!

hahah this is very true im gonna have a shot at fabricating a boot latch tomorow to shut the boot and not have the handle inside (ie remote boot popper)

so yeh not updated in a while well ive been workin away at focus diy and got a name as being a good memeber of staff and very supportive

which means the pay cheque this month is all the sweeter

other week on an outing to leeds my brake caliper decided to shear off and try to destroy the wheel and disc

luckily im a *willy* and drove it to a garage not know this was the problem]

got to the garage removed the wheel and CLUNK dropped the caliper

ill never use caliper bolts again which arent brand new

one had droped out leaving one bolt holding it and the combined pressue basically *melonsed* my caliper off









theres also some sneaky pics of when i did the ignition timing last week


so i get payed tomorow and gonna be treatin my car to 2 shocks, mintex 1144 pads, goodrich lines, new oil, new brake fluid, some new bolts, new rocker cover t bar seals and some steering rack gaitors


also i just won some bits on the e of bay a new door hinge as my top drivers oneis fubared, a type r rev meter and a central lockng kit much to jay rs's disgust lol but the cars getting therere:D
