Isnt that the standard haha
haha, I think you are right

What else have you ordered? Engine related or other goodies?
new w/pump,
2x boot hinge seals
throttle cable
turbo oil feed from block to turbo
K&N turbo type air filter
and thats the lot, lol.
Just little bits, but they will need to be bought at some point so I thought I might as well get them now.

Then got started on the mini. Finished off sanding down the bonnet, then filler primed, lightly sanded, then another 2 coats of primer and its looking good!
Going to take the hole saw to it tomorrow and make some nice big holes for the intercooler.
Then got started on the fuel pipes. Not a very nice job laying on the floor under the car making up pipes. Got most of it done, did both the feed and return from the tank to the front of the car, then ran out of rubber pipe and jubilee clips

Anyway here are the pics:

Just need to get some clips to attach the pipes to the floor as the original clips are for small pipe and this pipe wont fit in the clips

Then bent the pipes up and they just peek up behind the subframe. Hopefully when they are tight up against the floor they will be a bit longer so I can get a clip on them

Thanks for the link, the middle ones look the best, but that would mean screwing through the floor, I'd prefer to use some clips that will attach to the screws that are already there, where the original fuel pipe clips were?
Or I could get some of the middle clips and find some little nuts that will screw onto the original screws?
