Took my engine to MED to get the cam timing set up on the vernier pully.
£185 later .......
Before I saw the pics I thought MED had charged you £185 just to time the cam in!..lol
Should be great when its finished, would love to do a forced induction engine! (maybe next year!) Keep it up,
Pete.

Nice buys
What's the braided hose?
Thanks Luke,
The braided hose is the oil feed to the turbo, to keep it lubricated and cool.
Turns out the banjo bolt on my turbo is too big and doesn't fit in the hose

The cam timing was set up yesterday (wed), so I put on the timing cover, then dropped the block onto the gearbox, then fitted the clutch to the flywheel, then fitted that onto the engine. Cleaned up the transfer casing a bit first, but came to a halt as I needed to torque the flywheel bolt up but Dan's borrowing the socket

Well the engine is nearly done now, all i've got to do is torque the clutch bolt, and fit the flywheel housing and then the head when it arrives.
Got to sort out the Megajolt ECU and a couple of other bits for that, and then I'm nearly rolling

Car insurance is due on the Pride though, and the tax, cant believe its been 6 months already
