Thanks for the nice coments :)

Bodywork wise, should be solid again and with new paint this side of xmas, so hopefully early next year time it will be ready to be MOT'd again.

Cant wait!!

Hmm, similar sort of time to when i hope my valver should be finished

Looks a pretty sound project  Be good to see the finished version :P

 Lots of bodywork! At least you've got it all planned out. Gonna be epic this.

Haha yeah more bodywork than I imagined, but after Shifty and Roofless have worked their magic I know its going to be completely rust free and a great base for a project!

Hi Luke!

Going for the same 'Flame Red', I think its a lovely red, really deep, and it shines really well when kept pollished

The red / white colour scheme was the biggest influence when I got the car, I loved it.

Still keeping it de-bumpered at the front, not at the back.

Still got to decide what to do about a bonnet as my fibreglass one isn't a very good fit.

Also thinking of an arch change!

Mind you the starter motor is still roped to the front panel!!

I'd like to get the welding done in 4 weeks, 4 years is pushing it a bit!!

Looking forward to getting started on it.

haha thanks for the nice comments,
yes its going to be great when we can all go out in them together, although I'll be taking it nice and steady.

Yes I'll be lost without the mini to go and fiddle with (sounds wrong?) on a weekend, so yes I think I will be over at Dans quite a lot trying to progress his as much as possible.

haha the starter motor :P

Yes a little, Shifty is hoping to get started on it this week, as Dot's mini is soon heading back to roofless for paint.
Also bought a few more bits ;
headlight bowls
megajolt bottom pulley and bracket
oil cooler
turbo exhaust manifold
another bigger turbo >_<

Will update pics soon

Progress on James has been halted due to a lack of Power!!

Since Friday I haven't had any power at home, an overhead cable has been damaged and at the mo the entire village is being powered by generators!!

Went off on friday and came back on in the early hours this morning!!

Damm you MEB!!!

Sorry James, however the panels have all been ordered now.
