The turbo elbow matches the turbo housing as its off the same car, but the manifold studs don't match the turbo studs, they are further apart on the manifold. I'm pretty sure the outlet from the manifold and the inlet into the turbo match. Not sure on the elbow matching the downpipe as I haven't found a downpipe yet..

if the turbo housing is cast iron you could probably weld them together
instead of making an adapter..

Yes I've read about that on TurboMinis, they say you have to heat the cast bit first then weld with a powerfull welder, some say MIG, TIG or ARC with special rods.

The only trouble with that is you will always have to remove it as one whole lump.

Few pics of a rocker cover I bought from the classifieds on here, then had a custom paint job done on it :) :(

Haha, shouldn't look too OTT when in the engine bay, it just looks black when the light isn't on it but a nice touch I think :)

Haha true lol.

Not too sure, I spoke to Shifty on Friday and he said he was going to make a start on it this weekend. He has been really busy at work, but things are starting to return to normal again.

Well there is good news!!!

I've actually been working on your car...............honest!!

Its been stripped out and is ready for me to cut up.

I haven't taken any pics or started a thread because I can't find my frickin camera!!

I'm also very dissappointed at the lack of change I found in the car, not even enough for a chocolate bar, bah!!!

Great news, its going to look very 'holey' in the next few updates then.

Haha, when I stripped the interior before I must have found at least £5 in loose change, so thats where it all went :)
