xBR4DLEY - Not a problem but not sure when it will be as I'm not putting the orange ones one until the new front end is put on. Should be on by march.

minidream94 - the mini was at a scrappy just round the corner from me. Padworth breakers. Me and TadleySimon on here got pretty much every good part off the car and now sadly it along with a mk1 mini they had have both been turned in to boxes.

Dam it, did the shell look in good condition or not. Where there any more there aswell may get my dad to take me up there to have a look.

The sliver mini I got the parts from was probably in better condition then my mini is. Other then a small bit of rust in the passenger side floor pan and the front panels it was pretty solid.

The last time I saw it before it was scraped the glass boot bonnet had all been taking off it as well.

The mk1 was buggered.

I really wanted to buy the silver mini as a project as the shell was so good but it had to be scraped sadly.

O yes and just to add the damage to the wing was done by them moving it with a fork lift as I took the brake set up off it.

I know its such a shame but thats the way it is. To them its just another rusty old car.

Also Burnard can you tell me what headlight you have on your mini. I think you told me before but I forgot.

Got those ones, were a bit tricky to fit due to the location of the side light, but you only need to drill a large hole in the mounting ring, so its not hard.

I will do. I don't think I should have a problem got a few mates thats gonna help me out along the way. The plan is. Pick up the engine strip it down paint it fit the stage 3 head and stage 1 kit. Send my front subframe off to be powder coated. Cut the front off and get the new one put on. Spray the engine bay. Put the engine back it. Do the wiring. Headlights, indicators both my horns. Then sort out my drivers door and its a bit crusty at the bottom. Then fit the mk1 boot. Get the car sprayed. Then start on the interior.

Need to pay for all that and pay for my insurance and tax. Iv saved the money for all the engine work and am not far off from buying the panels. Its just paying for the re-spray that gonna be the expensive bit.

Well I'm getting the engine and a front subframe for £25. The new head and stage one kits £600. Then its just paying for paint and the few other bits i'll need. I'v been doing alot of hours at work recently hence why I haven't really done much to the car lately but it means I'll have the money to do all the work to it. Im hoping most of it will be done by the end of the year. Then I can start looking for a clubby estate as a project.
