This may be the most insane thing I have ever seen on this forum. quite simply insane. please sell all cars you have and start using buses for the safety of us all.

i think the reason the bolts came out if cause i used copper grease on them so this was clearly a stupid thing to do but the garage i once worked at i was adviced this was always the best option clearly i was told wrongly

On a serious note, and trying to help, how did you tighten them?

Use a very small amount of copperslip, (very small), and tighten with a torque wrench to 50Nm. (Tighter then you can manage with a normal ratchet).

Make sure you tighten the flange bolt properly too, setting in your Haynes.

Take your time when rebuilding the brakes, note if things have shifted lots you may need to rebleed the system to get them back to tip-top performance.

"So i keep going and as i aproach the lights and start slowing down the front wheel locks and the car screeched to a halt. I then tried to set off and the car wouldnt move like i was anchored, so i had to floor it to make the car move. I keep going and it locks again as i slow down, I pulled over but couldn't see anything. I kept going and the same thing happened this anothwer 8 times"

Really.

Would you like a JCB for your hole sir?

Things like this are why people are protesting about people working on their own cars and doing modifications themselves. When the day comes when i'm not allowed to change my own oil filter etc it will be people like you who will be the cause.

LOL people are always so quick to judge character by the way that person acts on one particular occasion. Ignore the insults and maybe take some advice on board for next time... there are some stook up rectum holes around so make sure to steer clear of pot holes(sorry).

PM me that drink recipe aswell please!!!!!!!!!! :D

This is unbelievable. Prawn took my words out of my mouth - i will pull over if i hear anything odd on my car, what ever it is. Let alone if the front wheel locks up for an unknown reason!

but the point remains at the time i had no idea it was the brake i though the shock has collapsted

So you thought the shock had collapsed but still tried to drive off numerous times?

Im sorry, but what you did was down right silly, the aa or rac will take you where ever you need the car to be for repair, then call a taxi, its not rocket sicence

to be honest, you dont deserve a mini if you going to be stupid!

Thats what I thought, either way it was the wrong decision. The car isn't safe at all!
