Bumpage! What's the latest?
Not much to update really im afraid, uue to having loads on with work...
I have messed about with the fuel system a fair bit trying to solve the fueling problem, but everything i do doesnt seem to make a difference, even though the whole fuel system has been changed at least twice and three times in most cases.
I did have quick play with it today, changed the fuel rail for my third and final rail, along with FPR, but i only had 1/4 of a jerry can so i couldnt test it properly, but i think the problem might be solved now, not really sure how but im not going to complain lol.
I took the car for a quick spin up the road and it didn't have any spluttering problems at all, but then i ran out of fuel so i could go out and give it a proper drive, so ill get some more fuel next time i go down my workshop and see if thats now solved the problem.
Iv also got some 13" x 7" super lights off the forum, which have some good dunlop 195 tyres on them, so hopefully they should help me get the power down a bit.

Gutted this didnt make it to the ring man!
Next year maybe? lol
Yea she will definitely be going to the ring at least a couple of times next year.

Gutted she didnt make it in time for the BH2N run but atleast it will mean it can properly test the car before i take it on such a long journey.

I sorted out the fueling problem a while back so the engine all runs properly, well would if i charged the battery up lol.
Although i have fixed the fueling problems, its currently all removed, so i could cut out the last bit of slightly crusty metal an replace with new panels, so now as far as my digging had gone (only further step i could have gone would have been sandblasting) i cant find a bit more rust, not bad really considering iv never had to weld so many panels/patches onto any other car iv ever played with haha.
So i removed all the fuel gubbins and cut the rear valence and two corner panels off, these werent really to bad, but i didnt want to have to re-do it in a years time. Sorry about the crap pictures.

New panels:

And fitted:

Iv been trying to find inspiration for this project again as all it need it to be prepped and painted, im considering the local body shop as when they came out to pick up a different car for paint the other day, i had him have a quick look at it for me, had he will paint it for £350 as he gets quite a bit of work from me, and i know his work is excellent. But then again all it needs is a lil bit of filler and a flat back so i might just do it myself if i find the inspiration again

On the + side i brought a passenger door a little while ago, that had just been fully reconditioned, with a new base and skin. So iv just the inner skin out as ill be running polycarbonate windows still.
So after cutting them about so they were light weight, i think have have managed to get my hands on a pair of mint doors just taken off a local lads race car, will find out tomorrow if i can have them, they have already been skinned out
So if i can get them it will mean iv got two mint stripped out passenger doors and one mint stripped out driver door. So im going to stick two on the CE, and probably paint the other one up and stick it on Rolling Snot.

So now ill started prepping the shell for paint. Ill hopefully have all the filler work and it in primer in the next couple of weeks, then ill go over all the whole shell again to make sure iv not missed anything then it will get paint. Really cant wait now, ill make a start on the bodywork tomorrow i think, im starting to brew up some enthusiasm for the project again.
