Nah it wont be finished in time for BH2N run, but there is a very slim chance i might have it mechanically sound and get an MOT on it...

Well since the last update, i forgot that it was a bank holiday weekend, so after trying like mad to sort out an MOT for Monday i found that not a single MOT station near me would do a test on Monday, so it booked up for 7:30am on Tuesday, so now its all or nothing as im supposed to be going to Germany in it on Wednesday...

Well iv been working away like made to get it sorted in time and i think its about there now.

Heres a couple of pics of what it looked like today:







I was going to leave it all different colours, but to make it just look a bit more complete i slapped some primer over it all, i didnt prep the shell before hand as i didnt have time, so if it passed the MOT when i get back from Germany ill take it back to bare metal and prep it all properly.

Wish me luck with the MOT.

Good luck with the MOT mate. The bank holiday weekend sucks, I wanted to book mine in for Tuesday but I cant so it'll have to be Wednesday now.

Nice odd arches by the way. I reccon everyone should take a detour past my house to get to the Ring from Brands. You show em the way Tom

I keep trying to tell myself that it will pass, but after such a big re-build it so easy to forget to do something small, especially as iv been rushing to get it ready in time.

Just hope it passes and that i can get it setup then do some miles in it on tuesday to make sure that there is nothing up with it before it does the long journey to germany lol.

Mum's said she would sort everything else out for me on tuesday so she will be on the phone all day sorting out breakdown cover, exchanging some of my moneys for me, getting me some food, etc...

Haha it isnt even the far out the way i guess.

If it passes the MOT and iv got the time ill pop in at some point, the MOT is just round the corner from your house anyway as they were the were the people that would do the test earliest, so if it does fail i might be able to get it sorted the same day lol.

Lol i know i dont really like the way rear miglias sat and cut down sports packs sat nicely... The front miglias did look good on the rear though but then i was left with nothing on the front... Why do estates have to be awkward haha.

Yea thats where i take my mini every year, but i dont really know why i do as there usually quite *rec of the tum* about small things... Time will soon tell what they thing about a highly modified car.

I asked them when I was last in there about an engine conversion mini and they said it would be fine, as long as it wasnt really dangerous etc....

Let me know what they say and what not. 2 converted minis in 2 days, how lucky for them.

Well I saw the car today at the garage and I also saw him driving past me during the day to get his suspension set up. I also know whether it passed or not but Ill let him tell you. If he doesnt before the trip to Germini then I suppose I can tell you.
