I didnt say I wasnt as good as shifty but shifty has had experience with all kinds of welders and has probably being doing it for a few years?
OK

What im getting at is Shifty is a Highly experienced welder that has been doing this for years, and im doubtfull he would even take on a project like this. You seem to have very little knowledge(I may be wrong) and I really dont think this is a project you can complete without risking your life.

Sounds like a polite way of saying I'm a miserable old git!!!

(meh maybe true!!!)

I didn't mean to insult you but you didn't appear to have a lot of mini experience, if I'm wrong then sorry.

The car you've got is worse than anything I've ever attempted and in all honesty I don't think I'd even attempt to restore your car, its just too far gone. The cost of the repairs far and away outweighs the value of the car and as I said unless you've got some strong emotional attachment to it I'd break it for bits and get one thats a better proposition.

You'll end up with a better car and safer car as well.

Exactly what I said
and Ok but if you realised i'm only 14 so im not going to know as much as most of the people on here but I still know quite a lot.
I respect Shifty because he knows what hes doing and saying, you just come here and try to look good , it doesnt seem you really know what your doing
On your rebuild thread you added the worst body kit ever (IMO) which isnt really a rebuild is it?

YOUR CAR IS SMURF

I came in here offering you advice which you dont seem to listen to anyway. You have been offered Advice by several members in several threads and dont seem to pay any attention to it at all. You Say I dont know what im talking about yet you know nothing about my background, And as for you Insulting my car because I tried to help you just shows your immaturity. On that note i'll leave you and this thread and wont bother offering you any advice in future, As it seems you have just as much respect for others as your friend james did.

As for james, i know him in real life, hes a swell chap, real nice guy. He has a lot of interest in mini's. He just got really annoyed with you lot insulting so he rebelled, hence the reason he got banned

Dont have a go at me for that^ Im a nice guy

If its me I'm sorry for insulting but its my first car and first project for me and my dad.
I understand when people come out with constructive criticism but I feel Adam is being disrespectful.

If you feel i've been disrespectful in any way please PM me the bits that offend you and i'll Gladly edit my posts, I respect the fact that this is your first car/project But I really do find your blatent disregard of peoples advice crazy, Especially when it could endanger your own or other peoples lives.

@thompson: Im sure James is a great chap, But while on this forum he showed very little respect for anyone, Sorry if my previous post offended you in any way.
