hmm to be honest, not quite sure if they are similar to the Ax's dont know anything about the AX's lol iv seen some of the lower spec share rear beams i think it was so it may well be correct.
the rear callipers on the GTI are disk obviosly, will probably keep them as they are, some better friction pads obviously
up front...not sure, my friend from temple rally sports just got a new contract with a brake supplier so it may well mean i will lol
it will most likely change brake spec depending weather im doing tarmac of gravle rallies, you want mahoosive breaks for tarmac...but will mean i need at least 15 inch wheels to fit it all under

I've had a 106 and my gf had a saxo and they both ended up with the same rust hole to the right hand corner of the boot you should look out for. rusts through from the wheel arch to thhe boot so make sure you check that

now iv gotta get a 4 brand fanimold then ill have my exhaust syetm sorted and best of all, no horrible knocking and blowing every time my car moves!!
only thing left i need to sort before actualy get on and buy additional stuff ie seats harnesses etc is my horrible knocking rear beam.
my friends friend is braking a saxo VTS and iv shot gunned the rear beam for £120, its been lowered previously and had a rebuild when that was done, trust the guy so assume it was lowered the correct way and will be in good condition.
possibly getting the front coil overs from the saxo too but it will be stretching the budget some what so im not so sure there.

just in the process of buying a new exhaust system tho

peugeot sport 3 inch inward rolled, i wanted the 2 inch outward rolled but im getting this 2nd hand so saving money. one of the newer types with a dummy cat fitted in the mid section.
Also getting a raceland 4 branch manifold.
so yep, both 2nd hand and only done 23 miles too

saving like £100 overall for something hardly used
happy because soon my exhaust wont be horribly blowing and knocking everywhere woop woop!
and at the same time im also getting the rear beam sorted, getting some front coil overs and a rear beam for £200, barg' and that should stop the nasty knocking from the rear and also ill be able to corner propperly yay!

and of course, the mandatory tail pipe picture lol

much better size than the old system, it no longer makes horrible rattling noises which im glad about too...sounds alright too haha
also had to change silly aux belt as that was embarrassing and squeeking.
next thing on the list is to fix the knocking rear beam

rear beam from a friend, should be in decent condition too so yay! hopefully can do that either next week or week after.
and just to match the height from to rear got these from the same guy

and after that should be all rattle and problem free

the beam wasnt expensive £200 for the beam and coilovers.
the exhaust system is full peugeot sport thing which ill have on when i rally it along with the manifold.
the rally prepping isnt going to start in full for quite a while, just due to me being a student and not affording it, if i can get a placement next year then ill do then but the cage is like £700 and the seats and harnesses are expensive too then of course theres alot of little bits, the seam welding takes quite a while to do so it would have to come off the road for a few weeks which isnt exactly convenient

Oh, I was expecting those to be quite a bit more.
It's looking good, is this your everyday car at the moment then?
