Finally I made it to Brighton just after 2 o'clock after loosing most if the convoy, I got sent all the way down to the marina. Literately. After finding a few of my friends, we made the walk down to the main show to find loads of spaces free. By this point I was so angry and tired I wanted to just cry and wondered why I didn't turn around at the services.
That bit took the pee to be honest! Saturday was ace though. I'll probably be doing it again next year, but might park on the lower carpark or just not bother with Brighton at all!
Saying that though - the CB banter was good!!
the cb banter was brill! Probably the one thing that kept us going! I recommend every one getting one! Brilliant!
I liked the bit where nobody could see me in the traffic. And all you could hear was "where's Roo? Has she stopped? I can't see her" I was like craig we're in stealth mode. Then passed you all. "I smell you!" "there she is" lol!! Brilliant!!

Found Craig.

Then we had a decent BBQ with the heat to cook food.

Then we got lost and ended up in Paris... :S

lol?

A few hours later there was a big queue. Luckily I was at the bottom and got away in good time. The queue for the run packs was not funny, I hope next year they start giving them out the night before.

I got bored waiting for the people up top so took pictures of my car. You may recognise it by it's snazzy ariel?

tomsbluemini I believe?

Not a Mini, but still...

samsernie in the queue.

We finally hit the streets of London

The temp gauge...

I managed to get out of London by turning the engine off in traffic jams, but on the A23 the inevitable happened - 6 times.

Things got desperate when I ran out of water... I had to resort to milk and energy drinks. So now my coolant stinks of sour milk. Time to flush the cooling system me thinks. Once on the move again the Mini behaved itself and arrived in Brighton in good time. The show was good, some really nice Minis on display and the autotesting in the main arena was good. Could've done with more autojumbles IMO but never mind. The drive home was good fun too.
