seconded its looking ace whats the plans for interior? also isn't it easier to spray the roof 1st then you only have to mask that off for when you shoot the main body colour rather than having to mask the whole body to do the roof?

Been following the thread for a while, love it, but could I suggest you take down the picture of the 16 year old drinking, doubt anyone cares buts its still not advisable to post.

its a timing issue with the roof, we need to full day to paint the body doors etc and only a evening to paint the roof.... we have always done it the other way round its just having the time to do it, to get it all painted!!!!

the interior for the moment will be bright red vinyl seats - just the standard single pole headrest seats which came out of my sisters mini - i'm sure later we'll upgrade them tho!!! and the carpets are black with red piping which are all new, then doorcards are i think MPi ones in black with ribbing on which came off the mini - then a JVC radio with Ipod connection - these kids!!! and the 6x9 speakers that are currently in my mini under the rear seat

the paint job is Really good on it - but there is a few bits of dust etc in the paint which we'll have to polish out later!!,

the plan is to leave it completely alone to dry untill wednesday when we will paint the roof - then thurday we have our mini meeting so we won't be around then Friday we can start putting it back together - soooooooo looking foward to it!!

then the final deadline is the 1st April where i'm gonna take it for the MOT about 3ish, then run to the post office with the insurance doc and money from woooo and tax it ready for Silly Mini Sunday at the weekend!!!!

we will have 2 weeks to put it all together inc 2 full weekends (we're gonna have to skip our monthly run out to Devon Mini Cafe ) - which i think is perfectly appectable as the engine and all of the suspension apart from the rear shocks is all on

So is it ok to seal the seams with paint like that then? I thohught they were supposed to be filled with flexible something or other
