day 58 - 10 days to MOT...........

pecks brought some new rear shocks and fitted them

Posted Image

then fitted the petrol tank :- - oh pecks do you want to get some petrol tomorrow - i fancy starting it......

and i brought a hazard and indicator flasher unit after i realised that the mini didn't have any..... and......

Posted Image

Posted Image

then tried to get the stereo to work which it wouldn't - nothing to do with the wiring i think the head unit or the connectors is dodgy...... FAIL!!!! it would power up for a few sections then lose power and die.... FAIL!!! - hopefully we'll sort something out....

anyway - wired in the front indicators and the rear fog light switch with new wiring and CJ came up and fitted the cig lighter properly - FAIL pecks!!!

Posted Image

and pumped in the heater - after i pushed the hoses on for him...

Posted Image

and CJ stripped down the grille and then started to clean it up - got bored and pecked took over and painted the frame

Posted Image

then i wired up and fitted the rear fog light

Posted Image

and the list looks alot better

Looks great, likeing the updates, however you did confuse me, on the paint pictures it was ordered so it looked like the mini was getting unpainted.

the earth is fine its screwed directly to the body and i've put the electrical testor on it and it fine - the sterro is a 16pin one rather than the other sort - which is a pain because i can't test it in my car......
