Took it for a drive in the nice weather then Dropped it off at the bodyshop to have the paintwork issues sorted :)

fixed my stereo, complete re-wire. now i dont have to sit with just the engine to enjoy on my 6 hour drives home!

Took it for a good drive out in the sun, then sorn'd it for repairs, as usual this will take longer than expected so thought I would save on tax and mot they both run out at the end of the month.

Sold my ozzy van yesterday and bought a clubby estate in need of a few rust repairs and engine putting in. Other than that it's mint

changed manifold gasket and carb gaskets and found my exhaust has fallen off at the tailpipe and silencer :-(

I cut the front panel off and wire brushed away a load of rust in the engine bay then covered it in Zinc primer.

 

 

I also discovered that the scuttle panel is mostly filler, which is fantastic, so that's something I'm going to have to add on to the list of things to sort out.

Sanded all the arse end, got rid of any surface rust and primed.
This prep work lark takes a bloody age, wouldn't like to do it for a living.
