just spoiled it with new shiny stuff as im still waiting for it too come out of the body shop

Changed his oil and engine steady bushes, old ones were rubbish so treated him to new mpi bushes, expensive taste...

Cut out the boot floor right through to the rear seat. Need to do lots of tidying up and prepping before fitting new panel.

changed the tower bolt rubbers

Today I replaced the ignition monitor and points for an electric ignition kit, tapped the threads and replaced the sparks, new distributor cap and ht leads.... Unfortunately she still isn't starting so tomorrow it will b carbs and fuel leads and pump checks...

Cut out yet another piece of tin wormed metal to replace.

End float checked.

Pistons in.

Spent ages looking through random bolts I removed from the engine nearly ten years ago for the correct ones!

ground down some welds and wire brushed some rusty areas.

Flushed and cleaned the radiator out of orange gunk

Got my radio in square and solid.
Got my centre console resprayed/dyed black.
Adjusted my bonnet release to make it more reliable (although its still very temperamental).
Stopped my steering column cover vibrating.
Dyed my floor mats black.
Tightened my alternator belt up to stop it squealing.

Will hopefully fit my new water pump tomorrow and treat some of the rust.

Stopped my bucket seats from rubbing on the door frame

Got the engine all bolted in with everything attached, just need to make up an exhaust and wire in fuel pump then it's ready to run (fingers crossed)

Bought it some new brakes tie bars and ball joints
