Noticed that the rev counter was becoming very erratic, and I heard short bursts of what sounded like pinking when the engine was under load. Poked the wires for the rev counter as it is an induction loop type, then saw the positive wire from my Metro distributor had come out of the spade terminal completely!

and started to install the new rear seat. and needed to turn my battery around due to the difference in thickness of the wood.
took the brackets of the old back seat :)

nothing opened the garage door nearly dropped on the spot with the heat will have to wait until tomorrow

New spacered rear drums fitted so I can take left handers at a reasonable pace, without rubbing the shock absorber
Funnily enough that's the very same job I tackled too! Fitted the new drums, chucked my wheels back on and took a roundabout at a nice brisk pace, and alas - that awful rubbing sound was gone!

lots of little jobs replaced the old non sticky sucker for the internal mirror so i can now see out of it, changed rear door lock as it wouldn't lock, fitted new carpet in loading bay and gave it a wash

For whatever reason mine feels a lot more forgiving on the bumps. Handles much better now I'm not scrubbing speed off in the corners.
