Cleaned the filter in preparation for an attempt at the airbox mod.

Cleaned up the engine bay a bit, looked a bloody state!

Taped up the door seals as a temporary leak fix until the new set turn up.

Today I found the cause for my brake fluid disappearing and undersealed the underbody. Could someone tell what engine this is because I need a new head gasket. says its a 998 on the logbook but the previous owner was told its a 1275. Replies Would be highly appreciated  :D

So, having stripped the servo, rubbed it all down, treated the surface to prevent rust, coated it with a rust encapsulator, primed it, then sprayed it with chrome paint ( thought I would give it a try). I was reasonably happy with it. I then thought I would add some extra protection and sprayed one half of it with a clear lacquer and it went from a nice shiny chrome to a pale grey matt surface.

What a pain!

I've changed both door seals on my Clubby estate and pulled out the inferior bypass hose, ready to replace with something better quality...

Attempted to fit the replacement doors.  Discovered a prior door owner had cut down the window frames about 1/2".  Not awesome.

I then swore at the Mini many times.
