Cleaned my engine & then painted it black. Looks much tidier than a mis match of yellow with flaking red on top 😁. I did this with the engine still in the car, very fiddly but much easier than it could have been with the front end chopped off ready for fitting new one

Managed to fix the slow starting issue it developed, turned out it was a bad earth! Didn't know where it was bad so cleaned up the battery terminals, fitted a new battery earth cable, along with a new engine earth cable.. however I couldn't take the old one off! So just fitted a new one from the clutch housing to the drivers side inner wing (luckily there was a hole underneath the washer bottle already!).

Fixed the loose electric connections on the coil. Starting cleaning up the engine bay. Fitted a button start ignition switch and the Toad drove out of the garage for the first time in over a year. Bless him.

They're out of a MK2 Punto Go.  They definitely improve the ride of the car with all the built in suspension and access to the rear is easier though they do add a fair bit of weight! Not sure what pics you want?  I can, erm, bend them over? :-)
