Got a home made repair panel welded in the rear wheel arch, two things in one week must be on a role, the 3 month project might be actually finished in 9 months at this rate.

I repaired my v-band exhaust clamp, over tighten it and busted it, so I re-welded the busted metal part
and then I made some adjustments to my fuel map for my engine
have it idling at 14.6:1 afr now

Torqued up the front hub bolts to 260Nm (190Ft/Lb) this morning as per Autodata settings for a single hole CV, tightened up with a large washer to spec then replaced the washer with the split cone and re-torqued.
Called down to see Jeremy at Selective Spares in Barry and bought a Mk1 Morris 7 slat grille and full moustache surround inc whiskers. Fitted them with stainless steel button cap heads and stainless nuts.
Also removed the spot lights and I will probably replace them with stainless ones and either a works spot lamp bar or an Italian job one at some point.
Much better

where was the pig?
Gave out beer to people who found the pig.
Edit: the beer was in my mini so that's how he participated.
It was behind the minispeed stand for 2 days

I was forced to fit a new(ish) light switch today after attempting to turn my lights on, and finding that the switch had snapped right in my hand! With the sidelights stuck permanently on I had to do a bit of temporary re-wiring to get the lights working so I could drive home in the dark, where luckily I had a spare light switch, however the terminals were all totally different resulting in over an hour of trial-and-error. Finally got the everything to turn on correctly with the switch, but then realised I'd wired it upside-down and the switch wouldn't fit through the hole - oops! So a little bit more messing around with the wires and now it's good as gold :)
