Fitted a recon steering rack on my lads car.

Started it (keeping it tucked away this winter).

Put it back in the garage, turned it off and gush. It's throws the coolant everywhere

My first ever car was an 1100 Escort and it started to do that when the water pump seals failed, so fitted a new pump.

I'll have a look a little later then :) Cheers. Although water pump is only a few months old, as is the gasket used. I think it might be the rad over flow pipe.

Good luck. Your description just reminded of me years ago; as long as the engine was running all was ok, soon as I switched off.....whoosh! And there it was all over the road, lol.

Just run-up my 1275 7-porter and thanks to the addition of a throttle-stop screw got it idling and warmed up nicely. Sounds marvellous through the 4 chokes ;D

put carpets back in and also fitted my new:

 

wiper blades 

Grill surounding 

 

Glad that rust treatment is over cant wait for another drive soon
