Ordered a new distributor bundle   for Ray

took it to a garage for a new wing, forgot to take the new rubber seal for the body kit. Drove the first 5 miles with the boot open and all 30 miles with the radiator cap off - Back to bed and start the day again....

lol Old Original, that sounds just like me, Laurel & Hardy Enterprises lol. Took my Min for a quick blast up and down the coach yard today and surprised myself with how much grunt it`s got for a 998! Just confirmed the insurance so it`ll be tax next then out on the road!! Yay!

Finally finished putting her back together after her bottom transplant, started her up and warmed her up. mot this week me hopes, only taken me two months lol feels like longer.

now just need the poorly digger removing from the workshop entrance so she can escape back to her true habitat - the open roads!!! god ive missed driving her.

Fitted a new rota arm  and now he's back on the road, as a treat fitted the new Quadoptic headlights i has    then took him for a run, picked up a new distributor coil and leads   going to fit them this weeekend

Finalised the insurance today (£502) and gave her a polish with MER. My god, she shone before but she positively gleams now!

Stood drooling at her and pinching myself to remind me that -"yes, it IS mine". She really attracts the eye sitting in our workshop/garage and as soon as a fresh pair of eyes light upon her all the "I had a mini once" and "my first car was a mini" stories come tumbling out. And every story is told with much affection by smiling people. Nice to know I have some uses...

Nice one Smackfiend, a very original touch. Haven`t even seen my min today as it is garaged 14 miles from home, but I did buy it a radio and I just hope it is compatible with the 2 plugs and 9 million wires that are in the dash box! lol
