Sorry for the blurry picture, I was holding a big bag of oranges.

Removed wing mirrors, wipers, washers jets, then covered holes with red duct tape. Had too much fun with it and covered the windscreen bead with black duct tape as well.

I also took the Broadway 300mm convex rearview mirror from my daily and put it in the mini. Takes a bit of getting used to not having wing mirrors but the convex rearview pretty much takes care of the blind spots.

Bought this cool leather preservative for my leather bonnet straps. It's Neatsfoot oil.

Took the mini for it's MOT and it passed

Waterblasted the underside again. Prep for the new front floors next weekend :) Also, the Mini has moved... twice in a week. Once outside to do the waterblasting, and then again back into the garage. :) On a trailer of course! And on it's side.... hmmmm.

Ditto. Almost a flat battery, charged, machine polished, took for a drive.

 

 

 

Also got a new gearknob, overly shiny and needed a clean up. Stripped, shoved on a drill and 400grit wet and dry later, almost like new!

Replaced old worn red dashpot springs with a new set of blues. Found a switched 12v line in my dodgy loom so I can install my electric ignition and new coil. Then maybe I can give him when it's cloudy. haha

Fixed my head lights, I had re-wired them wrong so had to be sorted for MOT, when one was on dipped, the other was on main and visa versa! Also tightened up the fan belt. Washed her and then took a friend for his first ever spin in a Mini!

Replaced my dizzy cap and ran a 12v line to prepare for my points to electric conversion. Also adjusted my rad fan to be about another cm closer to the rad. Hoping that will help with a bit of an overheating issue.

Fitted the front screen twice (the first one cracked with two inches of seal to go) 😡

Fitted my boot lid with new stainless fittings

Nothing - been painting the engine bay on the MGB-GT.

Replaced passenger side knuckle joint. Got the drivers side to replace sometime, hopefully that will fix my little squeak.
