New heater matrix, rad flush and fresh antifreeze.

Also changed the alternator and it's clutched drive shaft on my Focus diesel and then took my ER6 out for a wake up :)

I also ordered a selection of wire brushes ready for the exciting job ahead - bring on the POR15

Found a gert rusty hole in my rear subframe, made worse by some pleb that welded a plate over it.

Welded the NS doorstep and sill, solid as a solid thing now...

 

Whilst removing interior things, like seatbelts and seats, found the NS seatbelt bolt was cross threaded/very tight and stuck... so ordered a new pair of front red seatbelts from Minispares, hopefully they get here this week......

 

Also ordered (yesterday) a front towing eye in stainless, so should look shiney once fitted... and also a few stainless shims for the front subframe to stop the wheels from catching on the bodywork, even though the arches have been trimmed correctly...

 

Had to rebook the MoT for sometime next week, parts didnt turn up in time for last Fridays MoT....

Installed the red seatbelts as they arrived today from minispares :) well happy with them...

 

Also installed alloy door furniture too as they also turned up yesterday :) happy with the look but the little plastic clips that need to be installed for the door lock surround didnt want to play....

 

Also arrived was a central locking kit for my alarm thats been installed, so now have remote central locking :)

 

I know a Mini dont really need central locking but Iv got bragging rights to it LOL

 

 

 

 

On Sunday I'll be chucking me little Mini around my local race track as theyre having a time attack day, basically a track day, so cant wait to see what I can do with me Mini round a track :)

More  electrics to do, new window wiper rollers (jesus they are a pain), new door cards (also did not line up , spots are on, new carpet and seat covers to do on saturday.

The POR15 stuff arrived so backed the car onto some ramps in preparation of cleaning up the boot floor and rear subframe...

I took the van out in the rain today, something I never do due to the fearof her rusting away on the spot ;).
But with some weight in the back and her tiny 10" steel wheels on wet roads I had a great time haha!
