Drove it to Runcorn from Wigan.... was quite happy bumbling along in my little Mini sat on the motorway at 60...

I uninsured mine. It still sits in the corner of my folk's garage looking sorry for itself.

I fitted a fly off handbrake and gave it a quick clean.. didn't stay clean for long though  :shifty:

started it after a month started 2nd hit moved it out of the garage cleaned up a little put compressor in place and drove it back in.. my granddaughter had a big smile on her face  "granddads in his cool car"  bless her

But it still has "laid-up" insurance ? For a few quid, you could be saving yourself a lot of heartache !

In what way would it benefit me? It has no engine, no suspension and no adverse risk of fire or damage. If some could find it, it's a shell. Plus they'd pinch my dads car instead lol.

Attempted to train my pet squirrel, who is clever with round nuts but not so good with hexagonal, to fit the rear nut on the clutch master cylinder without removing the carburettors on my mk2 cooper

Went over the garage and fitted a couple of new (original 1995) Cooper spots and wired them in. Left with a nice sense of completion. Just another 1000x jobs to do.
