Put my mini on it's side and now ready to chop it all up in the morning! 😀

Welded up my dad's mini floors ready for MOT (replaced rear wheel bearing yesterday too) and also fitted my optimise automotive boot liner kit.. looks beautiful!

New chrome flexible roof and seam trims added and now all ready for L2B this weekend!

Got mine back from its extended stay at the garage having bodywork and respray. Gave it a mini service. Waiting for L2b at the weekend fingers crossed she behaves herself.

Well as Dads mini got through the MOT, I changed the oil and filter in both and replaced spark plugs in mine. All ready for L2B.

 

Going to experiment with the dashpot oil in my dads and see if I can get rid of the flat spot/hesitation. Mixture comes up fine on the Colourtune so hopefully different oil will help!

Did you have any difficuty getting your tyres fitted?

Did the fitters make any marks in the back of the wheel with the tyre machine

Welded my lhs inner sill, cut out and replaced my shock mount (lhs), got rid of some factory fitted 'clips' for a non existing fuel pipe (I have and mpi) slinging bracket air intake nuts (they always rust and will be replaced with rivnuts) and finished-off my arch profile

Painted the hinges and boot

Fitted my Minivation cup holder, dug out my fibre glass bonnet from the loft, painted some welding to keep it protected, re-fitted rear bumper.

 

Hopefully my wheel nuts arrive tomorrow so my Cobra Supaslots can finally get fitted!!

Drilled out the spot welds holding the inner wing braces as rust had bulged them between the spot welds,  o/s cross member isn't too bad,  but the n/s is holed and will need patching up.

Applied the bonnet striped and ordered my kick plates. Toying with buying a new grill
