Pushed it out the garage so I could spray some land rover panels, then pushed it back in. Prob racked up 10 metres on the clock this weekend.

Not today but yesterday,

 

Me and the Mrs got rather warm but had a huge amount of fun as car 79 on the Mini Epynt Stages Rally, took the grille off in the morning to aid cooling.  For the first time this year the car ran well all event without a single problem.

Got the new headlining glued in the Mayfair, then paid a deposit on a rolling cooper shell with V5, pick it up on Friday, can't wait!

Last week I fitted and set up some Mini Spares rear camber and tracking brackets.

At the weekend I fitted new bushes on my steering column - makes the world of difference!

Today I trimmed of the edging of my McLeans arches and thankfully I don't regret it 😊

Removed the arches to find some more horrific rust.

 

 

Need a whole new front end. Possibility a fibreglass one as cheaper and no welding needed.

Just wired in a Snooper. (91 Mayfair 998)

After swapping out my offset 3 clock binnacle for a center 3 clock,I noticed the  30MPH Speed warning signs lighting up on Southport  Road, Bootle. But,as I back off,never sure if I'm just under or over 30,Not a lot in it.

Just drove down the same Road with the snooper on.and the nice lady in the box told me off for speeding.I settled down + backed off me right foot.

out come my speedo is about 2mph slow showing 30,I'm actually doing 32 (according to TIM PEAKE up there with the satellites).

Fitted new rubber sill trims, in red! Bit different. Also covered my Speaker Board and put some grills on. Stereo no fully complete! Oh, and gave her a wash.
