Another day, another ******* issue. Dunno whether to put the standard damper back, not impressed by this MED component..
What's wrong with it?

Replaced the petrol sender unit, and finally I know how much fuel is in the tank instead of playing petrol roulette.

That looks like it should clear when it goes into the pulley groove

Over the past few weeks I've sorted all the ball joints, replaced a number of bushes around the front end, new track rod ends, welded/repaired the door step, sprayed front end in Modena red, added pinstripe to match, fitted front arches, bonnet, lights (mostly), indicators, fasteners for front end, tightened up steering column support (as previous owner left it loose), also fitted throttle pedal stop and two missing bolts to pedal box (again previous owner). Replaced a bunch of metric bolts with imperial (yep previous owner)
And to think the previous owner was in training to be an RAF engineer...
Jobs left are to dig out an engine and fit it, also exhaust, do tracking, bonnet straps, refit door after floor repair is complete, fit interior, side repeaters, recondition one radius arm and set ride height. Then MOT!

Bought a pair from Mini Spares years ago, could only find one. So because I'm a a cheap bugger, instead of buying another pair, I made the other side.
Can you tell which one I made? 😊

Fitted a Vauxhall Corsa B beesting aerial to the rear of the roof, which involved drilling a ruddy big hole in the roof and removal of the rear window....
Was a good excuse to replace the rear window rubber and chrome trim.... that aint an easy task, even with the insertion tool....

Replaced the blown bulb in the right wing repeater light.
Completely drained and flushed the red coolant from my MPI Mini - which looked like it had never been replaced! Filled her back up with some fresh blue glycol based coolant. :)
