Had a go at fancy flux wire gas less welding - oh dear!
Will use my brothers tig welder tomorrow.

Took it for MOT today to see what is needed and it passed!!!
All I have done since buying is service and adjust the brakes.
Historic tax applied with and £16 to add to my multi car policy. Over the moon!
Get some miles on it now, loads to do but great that it is usable!

Opened the packet containing an Innocenti dash and bought a MGB fuel gauge to fit it.

Stripped the engine bay ground off the rust and red oxide painted,
Labelled and removed the wiring looms,
Made a start on removing the engine out of the subframe, failed at the gear linkage pin, swore, bashed my fingers with the hammer, swore again. sawed the linkage off

Another day, another ******* issue. Dunno whether to put the standard damper back, not impressed by this MED component..

Split the gearbox from the block, freed up the front brakes and cleaned up the discs, whilst swearing at intermittent rain!
