Built up a replacement passenger door mirror using a mint condition cherry red shell that fortunately came with my car and the glass and black retaining trim from a NOS plain black plastic mirror that I bought off eBay. I'm unsure as to how the previous owner managed to get the glass and retaining trim off the cherry red mirror without damaging the shell, I deliberately sacrificed the back of the black plastic one with a Dremel to ensure that the trim and glass were not damaged! I suspect that the previous owner did the reverse and destroyed the glass and retaining trim to prevent damaging the shell!

Fitted 2 up 2 down bracket with KC HiLite spots and fogs :)

Very very bright, and an amazingly good range on the spots too.....

Also changed the front HiLo's back to standard cones.... rides much better than it ever did with the HiLo's fitted... have retained the aftermarket springs though.... proper springs not rubber cones...

Think Iv got a leaky exhaust though as there seems to be exhaust fumes entering the cabin....

I did, and the rears too... still came away with streaming eyes and a sore throat LOL

Think its coming from the manifold, might need more than blu-tac to hold it on....

Made a start on stripping the paint on my replacement bumper I picked up at Stanford yesterday. Although, now its stripped (probably send to be blasted and powder coated) I'm rather tempted to just lacquer it instead.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I like that....

But then I do like the 'Rat Look'... Just lacquer it, it'll either stop it rusting further, or get worse... either way you save a bundle on not getting it powder coated....

Thing is I intentionally bought it to replace my rear painted bumper that is too far gone on the underside. So I was going to get my current front bumper and this 'rusty' replacement blasted, powder coated in primer and painted up in nimbus grey top coat.
