Low noise HIF44 air intake is done. 1380 with MG Metro Intake manifold was noisy with the K&N cone and also had limited height so could not get a std filter box on.

Finally fitted and wired in the centre console. It was a tight fit but looks great.

Fitted new rear bumper and attached new pop rivet to left arch (where one came loose).
Annoyingly, after a run to fuel up, the car cut out. Glad it happened on my drive! Turns out the connection to the starter motor is f*****! Took the grille, sides, and hose off, ready for tomorrow where I'll add a new connection. I had this issue before and made a temp fix. This time it will be permanent fix.

Fitted a block connector to the starter motor, now that darn connector issue should be fixed for good! I then rewired the spots and cleaned up the grille while it was off (adding new screws once back on to attach). Some fettling to do to the alignment of grille/sides, no rush though.

Are they live wires into an uninsulated chop block!!!
If so it looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Hopefully I'm wrong.

That looks great, I might do that myself at some point. Could you give me the link for the centre console and additional USB bits etc?
