Carried out the two speed heater fan conversion. Looks like 20 quids worth of success.
Wait, there's a conversion?
Yes Evan. You add some resistance to an extra circuit to quieten the bugger down. Daz.

Fitted a oil temp sender direct replacement from Minispares to the block. Interested to see if that changes my oil gauge on long runs.

Got round to doing near side of the front suspension, neg camber arm on, welded a 3mm plate on the top arm, the git bit was trying to remove 60 year old snot out of the holes that mount the top damper plate, what ever those Portugese used back in the day, it hangs on well.

I finally drove my Mini after finishing off fitting a new cylinder head. It's a gas flowed 35/29 and unleaded. I also wrapped the LCB down to the Y piece and painted it black (stove paint). The car runs even better than before.
I did have a slight problem of the exhaust wrap drying/curing/whatever it does, which made it smoke for a while. I took it down the local bypass and I thought the engine was on fire with the smoke coming out! I quick check made sure the smoke/steam was coming from the wrap.
New coolant and oil/filter change and a K&N for the twintake completed the line up today.

Offside front suspension upgrades sorted, offside rear negative camber sorted, even the rear hub came off without leaving an inner race on the stub axle, no bolts sheared, I must have trod in something.

Hi,
Took Moop for her MOT and YEEHAA she PASSED with no advisories.
Finally got round to getting rid of the annoying rattle from the passenger door.
It was the metal bar from the interior door hanle to the catch.
Fixed some foam between it and the inside door panel/skin and all is quiet now.
Just got to find the root of a couple of less annoying rattles.

Fitted a Unitacho to the back of the tachometer as the needle had a very annoying bounce over 2k. The needle is rock solid now, looks weird to see it that way, so used to it fly around the clock face.

Fitted a new cv boot 2 days before the mot. This was only fitted last march.... Some of these top mini part suppliers have shocking quality. 3rd time I've had issue with rubber quality.
