Humming along nicely, noticed temp guage dropping so felt heater output which was cold.Slowed and steam erupting from bonnet.Heated manifold pipe had come off spraying water everywhere.pulled the pipe through bulkhead from heater and connected to cylinder head takeoff.made acquaintance of nearby householder for more water and carried on.
Without the heated manifold there is a noticeable flat spot when changing gear so sone new hoses and clamps ordered.Steve..

Well first 50 odd mile commute with rubber and poly front subframe mounts. Noticeably quieter, drop gear noise in the cabin is greatly reduced, unexpectedly I've always had slight wheel wobble about 60-65 mph regardless of how many times I got the balancing done, it seems to have eliminated that. I didn't notice any detrimental handling but I was only commuting up the motorway and not blasting it around country lanes so that remains to be seen. Overall very happy.

The quality might be compressed and not as good, being sent over via whatsapp, but this is a quick snap i captured. Wish I did it today with the good weather and not working, lol!

No, the quality looks great, I fancy those. They'd be smart for my mountain biking too. Might be pricey with a prescription though. Are the stills good quality too? Daz.

Started flatting back rear N/S rear quarter, flatted and skimmed N/S door, Primed rear number plate light housing, and scrubbed the lenses, they were cloudy but have come up clear so that's nice.

Can't believe I'm working on this bloody car again! better than it languishing in a garage forever though.
