No, the quality looks great, I fancy those. They'd be smart for my mountain biking too. Might be pricey with a prescription though. Are the stills good quality too? Daz.

The stills are also good (imo). I also do mtb rides, never thought to try them on rides, I will now after you said lol...

Nice, I'll be interested in those too. Don't bin it;-)

Replaced the yellow spring in the 44, while doing so changed the dashpot oil to 20/50, we'll see if it makes a difference

Back down on the wheels for the first time in 5 months. Just the ecu to finish off and a few tightness checks

Managed to free the heater, valve which was stuck closed.

That'll teach me to leave it open during the winter months.

went to take it to its mot. Started it up and stunk of fuel. looked underneath the fuel hoses had completely deteriorated, only held together by the cotton fibres. worrinlgy that i last drove it at the end of feb this year and i doubt they would have been any better then.

I had exactly that problem exactly 2 years ago.  I got a huge fright, and nearly had a fire (engine got hot before the hoses starting leaking).  Got all hoses replaced, and now have 3 fire extinguishers in the car at all times!

Routed a new cable to the brake light switch as the previous one failed, causing me to have no brake lights.

Also greased the top/bottom ball joints and radius arms.

Nothing today as I've been re-wiring the overdrive switch on my Sunbeam Alpine, but tomorrow I am going to service the rear/handbrake on the Cooper 'S' so that it will handbrake turn better. Next rally is in June.

For photo of the Alpine see 'Should I' in Motor Mouth section.

Carried out the two speed heater fan conversion. Looks like 20 quids worth of success.

Yes, I had a problem with the overdrive switch wiring, but it is fine now. It’s fun to drive.

The extra less powerful one Stu. Three position switch, first circuit with a resistor in line. Not sure I'd want a more powerful one, the existing was already doing my head in >_< . Daz.
