Personally I drive this;

Which contrary to it's basic looks is 2.5 Si which makes it great fun for toying with boy racers who assume it's a 1.6 Verona! And as it has a towbar it's very handy for hitching up the trailer and dragging the Mini to trackdays

I want this Merc
190E, insurance for me would only be £1373 for a 1.8l auto.
Blimey that is a little different from what I'm after!!! Nice though.

Looking at this. I only drive 4 days a week and not far..... 25 miles max (that's there and back!) so I'm thinking this might be ok until I find that dream Fantasia green Lupo Diesel 1.7!!!!

£990 for a Fiat Seicento? You must be mad, there's better cars for the money. I know it's just for a run about, but what about a 1.25 Zetec Fiesta? 1.0l Micra etc?
Got it for 945. It's very low mileage and lovely condition and it is in a convenient place to be put up to me on the ferry! Can always re -sell if I don't get on with it! I had a cheap micra.... it rusted, and caused me a lot of problems. This has been used so little it has never had the tyres changed yet! And I've still got Tiny for looking cool!

The Fiat is a good little car, very low mileage, very clean, no rust, good spec. It's also great fun to drive, I took it for a test drive last night
very mini like! List price is £1200 for that model, got it for £945, so even if she doesn't like it, she can make at least £200 straight away. She doesn't need a fast car, she needs something economical, cheap to tax, insure and maintain, a reliable A to B car.
It hasn't got that stupiud clutchless manual gear box has it???
My daily drive is a 52 plate Mondeo 2litre TDCI Ghia X auto!
However, I live in Kent and all my family live up North, and it's such a good motorway cruiser, and at 50mpg it's good on fuel too.
I also own a Yamaha RD125LC

Indeed, it looks like a lovely wee car, but I am not finding it cheap to insure!! Adrian Flux quoted me £640!!!!!!!!!!! They said it was "not exactly sought after" so they were finding it hard to get people to insure it. Kwik fit are cheapest at £274 comp. I looked around and I reckon for the condition it's in that is a fair price. That diesel Lupo is my dream car though, I saw a lupo today and I started squealing in the street. Cute and solid, £30 tax, 65mpg...... keep yer eyed peeled! Fiat will be lovely 'til my lupo dream comes true! (p.s not really calling it Bluebell, I was joking)
