Try this:

Fake Cam

and this:

CCTV Stickers

but if that doesn't work either one of these.......

OR a few of these tactically positioned.....

But seriously, if you don't want to spend any money then I think the overnight option is a good idea. Make some noise on one particular day and make sure he hears, then set up a tent and scare the ******* out of him. Film it too, for our sakes, would make a good Youtube video!!

Innocent untill proved guilty.

If you have that amount of water in the garage and its not draining away i would be looking at a burst underground pipe not a senior gentleman with a hose pipe.
Is there no guilt on your side, remember you had a genny running and a compressor, does he have no cause to complain about the noise?

he can ******* and moan about the noise all he wants, its not like its 24/7. As long as its within reasonable hours of the day he cant complain...what if someone was digging up the road, much noisier activity u recon its just as justafiable to complain then? you sound like a grump old man tho thats for sure

I don't really agree with you. Sam was being perfectly reasonable, it's not like the generator is going all day and night is it. If this old bloke didn't do it why would he be so smug?

I honestly believe that it sounds like the old man, and a burst water main would be pi**ing out water all the time so it can't be that. If he keeps his noise within reasonable hours which he says he is doing then the old man has no leg to stand on, he's just being a grumpy old banker with nothing better to do. Don't worry i've got a neighbour just like him, all he wants to do is make my life a misery!!

not been a good day for me today!
went to speak to the police, and they told me theres nothing they can do about it, unless ive got some sort of proof hes doing it, they didnt relly want to know.
then turnt up to the garage, opened up, to continue drying it out, ten minutes later the old ******* there looking under the front of the mini, winging that its leaked a little oil, i came out and stuck a bit of wood under the engine, and said "happy now?" he said "i suppose thats better than it going all over the concrete, oh, i see your thouroughly enjoying yourself mopping up the water, at least its keeping you quiet" that made me snap, and i ended up in a big argument with him, luckily my friend that was with me calmed me down as she thought i was going to smack him, suppose weve just got to see what happens next, but if it does happen again, i will retaliate as im getting sick of it. the garage owner is fully aware of whats going and my intentions if it happens again, as it is her property after all.

i did say that the next time he floods it ill be doing something about it, he didnt say much back, and looked kind of worried, then he tried to deny it, which wound me up even more.
