I managed to acquire a gazebo today which I'm going to paint the mini in.
It was damaged by the weight of rain on it, but I can get one last use out of it

Just read your full thread Carlos. Amazing work well done mate. I'm just about to start my shell and currently learning to weld.
Hopefully more to come tomorrow.
Get yourself on the mig welding forum, there's loads of good advice on there

Yes I've had a good gander. Lots of great tips. I guess you'll be in rebuild mode now you've completed your shell eh? Are you spraying it at home, and what in? I plan to re spray at home in celly.
I've got a few bits to do on the shell.
I've got a gazebo to paint the car in with celly.
I hope it comes out ok

I have ideas to try the full paint process out on the boot lid first so if it goes wrong its only the boot lid not the whole shell.Yes I've had a good gander. Lots of great tips. I'm going to give it a go, and if I mess it up and it's rubbish I'll sand it back and pay someone to do it
