I had a bit of an accident last night. I was washing a glass in the sink and it smashed cutting my hand quite badly.
After 3 hours in A&E, an X-ray, superglue and steristrips my right hand is fairly unusable.
I'd arranged for my mate to come round so that we could work on the car (I wasn't happy with the gap around the top of the door) he did all the work adding bits into the frame and I couldn't do anything.
It looks like I'll be moving house in 3 weeks so all my effort will be going into that for a while

In preperation for the move I needed to fix the steering column in properly. Doing a job which needs 3 hands with 1 good hand and the other where I cannot make a fist or bend my index finger was challenging to say the least. I needed to squeeze the bracket about a mm in order to get the threads to engage. Anyway, after about half an hour of trying it's all sorted.
I also took a quick picture of my door gap

Good luck with your move Carlos. So how will you be moving the car then ?
On a trailer I hope. It's less than a mile, so I could push it if it came to it, but I'm not sure what would happen if I was caught

I always wonder about horse drawn carts on the road. I'm not sure whether they need to be insured or not ?
They should be, a horse is a VERY heavy wild animal and can cause a lot of damage.
Whether they need to be by law, I don't know
