Just to re-update as it appears a couple of my posts were lost when the forum went down
Brake plates and drums all painted and baked in a low heat in the oven.
I'm going to store them under the bed all wrapped up until I need them!
It made a nice change to paint something!

A little bit more painting today, rear hubs painted!
These will be going in the box under the bed once they've cooled and the paint has hardened
I tried to split the front discs from the carriers but couldn't as they were so tight, a little heat may help!
I will dig out the front hubs and get them cleaned and painted next!
Slow progress!

Hi Hugh, I'm using black engine enamel, it says to heat it slowly!
Obviously if it was on an engine it would heat when the engine runs!
It gives a really good finish, the photos don't do it justice!
The wife will be fine, I've washed the baking tray up!

Frustrated tonight, decided to strip the front hubs.
Bearings were a pig to remove and I couldn't get the ball joints loosened for love nor money.
Task for the weekend is to mount the vice to the bench, that'll make life easier.
I don't know why I'm stripping them as I'm sure my 4 pots wont fit them? Can anyone confirm?
