I won't be removing it anyway, and as for section 5. It isn't abusive or threatening at all. The sticker is aimed at Classic minis being 'true' and the german minis being 'S***'. Offensive to a car, wow, this world is crazy.
And if anybody would class this sticker as racist, then fine I am racist. Yes, I am racist for saying that the BMW mini is, in my opinion, S***. So am I racist equally for thinking that Australian Wine is awful, or thinking my Foreign TV is rubbish??

Now i believe there is a thing called a swear filter on this site, and i also believe it is there because swearing is offensive. So to have a sticker with swearing on it, on display would be also offensive. Would you use the same language if you were to attend a job interview? If it is your opinion or not, its offensive, so the copper is right. If you are going to blatantly offend people, because you are too stubbourn or lazy to censor your sticker then i say any fine's cautions or points you may get are deserved.
Saying something made in a different country is rhubarb, is only racist if you are discriminating against it because of where it was made, not the build,taste,quality. The fact you have to point out that it refers to the BMW mini doesn't help your argument much, so a German person may be offended because, it only refers to Germany and not the BMW mini.

I hate some police as much as the next guy.. but you got to think maybe the police man wanted you to remove the sticker for your own saftey... I mean come on think about how many immagrents we have...

There is a difference between political correctness and plain ignorant and offensive. Just because you choose to use offensive language, doesn't mean forcing others to see it or hear it is ok. Your social circle may think it "cool" or acceptable but the vast majority find it offensive even if it is used in private.

How would I have felt it when my children were small and starting to read if they had asked me to help them read that sticker? Not best pleased! I would have had to think on my feet and come up with something, but I do not think that people should be put in that position. It’s a pity it is not a crime for that sticker to be unimaginative or unamusing, but I guess those are a matter of perspective and personal opinion.

And the best part, he pulled me outside an illegal gypsy site!!!!!!
If I had been quicker to think, i'd have driven in, that would have sure scared him off.

They gave him advice, take it off/censor or face a fine so i would say that is not a waste. They could have given him a penalty there and then, and he really would be moaning then, but chose to leave him on his way.
All this is because a young boy thinks because he is not offended its ok, and doesn't want to do as he is told by the law.
The same could be said of car theifs and car vandles yet we all jump on those. (Commiting an offence that in their mind is acceptable)

Swear words have become a cliché to so many people they are simply handy words that can be used as nouns and adjectives. However some people are still offended by them and no young children should use then. People can't swear on TV before a certain time for the very reason that children shouldn't be exposed to it. I cannot quote any laws to you which forbid swear words on cars but find me an example of something that is displayed 24/7 containing profanities then you may be able to keep your sticker.

On the other hand, it is a bit much for him to pull you over for it, you must live somewhere nice without much crime.
