Some important developments to the car have been made. Finishing all the bodywork, I had the shell blasted, building up the subframes and getting it on its wheels. I now need to choose the colour, red or bronze?
I have also rebuilt the engine and gearbox, we are now going TURBO...

Great work, Are you keeping the wood effect trim? I would go for the bronze.

Undecided about the fake wood trim, it goes with the bronze much better than the red that is for sure. If i do keep the trim I want to strip the fake wood effect stuff off and do it properly in veneer.
It may sound weird but bur walnut, in my opinion works well.

Sorry guys,
It's been a long time I know, sorry. I'll provide a better word update in a separate post but I'll let the pictures tell the initial story.
But a brief summary:
* Now fully in paint.
* Engine rebuilt (block by Rob Walker)
* Turbo'd
* Looms carcassed including heated front screen and seat.
* Electric Front Windows
* Buckets loads of cavity and underbody sealant.
* Engine dropped back in (today)
* Interior being done in full "Biscuit" leather ( including head lining).

As for the underside it was a 3m over paintable stonechip, then sprayed body colour and finally had a good covering with dynax UB wax
