its still a thirty at heart :) and the thirty with stripes looks nice the black one without badges looks odd oh well each to their own :)

I suppose, if you know a bit about minis, it might be confusing what an '89 black mini, as it was a popular colour, I mean, there must be at least checkmates and 30s in black! 

 

 

Most people wouldn't know the difference, it just looks like a mini to them

Oh dear, these poor minis having identity crisises... AT THEIR AGE! ... my red 30 has a black roof which was previously GOLD!! I'm not sure what colour to have it done when its resprayed. I'm not fancying cherry red though. No decals for me either.. I might slap a Clubman sticker on just to confuse people.. oh and a v8 sticker on the back. haha.

well it took me nearly 3 hours to get through your hole thread, very inspiring i must say :-) hope mine turns out as good as yours. brill job love it. will keep my eye on anything else you do. if u still have it lol
