i'm moving on to stage 1.5! i shall be putting megajolt on my auto within the next few weeks, and shall also wind the boost up!
currently i can only describe the way my power comes in as prehistoric. i get a big lump of boost at 3500! in the cold weather at first start up the car is pretty much pants, with the retard on the distributor and all. so i will put up some more pics and show you all how i went about setting it up. also someone bumped into me the other day. just a tap on the rear, buts its cracked the paint under the boot lid. won't cost much to fix and i have already sorted it out with the person who bumped into me!
so far i have the ford edis module with the crank sensor, a brand new style ford coil pack, with brand new leads for a ka (the 1.3 engine), and i shall be buying some new plugs aswell. i managed to source a trigger wheel to weld onto a spare 1275 pully i have. i also have an mra dizzy blank. i shall be making my own bracket for the sensor, nothing too fancy just some strip steel.
all together it has cost £50 for parts, with me just needing to buy the megajolt itself which will cost around £100 fully built and tested. i will probabily run around 11psi of boost, just to keep things in check.

stuff needed to run megajolt

and the megajolt which arrived this mornin

first job was to remove thy old distributor

and the gear it drives. i left my magnet at work but luckily a socket fits the end!

just checking the clearance of the crank pulley

vr sensor fitted, and proposed location of the coil pack. i would mount it on the bulkhead but i've no room!

a nice hide hole for the edis
not much done today to be honest, spent most of the time cleaning the dam engine! will crack on with the wiring tomorrow, and should hopefully get her started up! now i haven't been able to book a rolling road sesion this month, so i plan on doing some rough testing just to get it running nice, then take it to the rolling road for a proper setup.
