a small bit of progress, this weekend i have mostly been checking the engine, but i did have time to make up a new swithc panel. i fould the old switches were a bit out dated, so i'v opted for these savage switches and a push button starter. (note i only have 1 for now but i will have the rest soon!)

very nice switches. where did you get them from, and how easy are they to wire in? I want!

they are made by a company called savage, demontweeks sell them but you'll find the full range on ebay for around 15quid a switch.

got the turbo box welded in and painted. i know i rushed it, and it would have looked better if i took my time, but most of it will be covered anyway! picture was taken while it was still wet. the colour match won't be perfect as i did this using rattle cans.

only proble with the turbo box was it was a bit too long, so when i came to cut the 45o into the cross member for the small plate, i found it didn't quite fit, but i used a bit of old metal for it. hopefully thats the body work complete!

thats a good question! i may attach the brackets back on to the back of the box, or come up with something else. when i do i'll let you know! it does stick a fair way out now, don't suppose anyone knows of any heaters that are smaller than the mini's?

anyway, spent money i didn't have on a new cross pin differential from minispares! built it up today in work :gimme: , and plan to put it in the box tomorrow.
comparison to standard differential
