thanks and does your reverse rims catch the arch at all ?? as im looking to put reverse rims on mine but unsure weather they will catch as i have 7.5 disk brake converstion on mine :)

nope. as you can see its fairly low at the front and with 1.5 negative camber bottom arms, its close, but my front wheels never tounch the arches.

right then.......

some updates!

well in this last month I seem to have spent loads but not really seemed to have anything to show for it! Except alot of baby cloths :)

The first thing I did was to replace the std drums and spacers for drums with built in spacers. Needed doing a while back but done now, i still need to adjust the brakes as the back left is locking up far to early :s

next update, seat belts in the rear!

another are these, dont worry though I am only going to use them when abroad!

more indirectly related, but still new in my life of minis. A guy from work used to be into his minis in his youth and has boxes of gauges and tools that he is giving me!

Whilst fitting the seatbelts a guy walked past the house and came up to me offering me a box of mini bits,

and there is another bigger box where that came from :) mainly mk1 things but I am on the search for a mk1!

The final indirect update is.........

My house I rent in derby, the garage is now free from mark_tkm's heritage shell (http://www.theminifo...pi-project-fin/)

So Noddy is making an appearance in Derby next week as a road trip to see 2 very special minis in a barn ;) I am leaving it at that for now! More details may follow!

Another little thing that took me ages to do, sorted out all the seats out sticking down all the loose vynal ect!

Fitted sound proofing under all the carpets (makes no difference!)

And Noddy now has a cigarette lighter hidden under the dash :)

How have you got those rear seatbelts mounted? Any chance of a couple of pics to show how they're bolted in.

They are static belts, and yh next time I am out I'll get a pic, the shoulder bit goes to the damper mount,

And the lap part goes to the vertical part that spans the width of the shell?

My description is poor, I'll get some pictures up!

Busy night last night! after finding a split round my rear subframe mount to the back of the drivers sill! but dropped the subframe off, welded up all back together now, all in an evening!

I forgot to link this vid a while back, it basically me driving round Donington park, look out for the red stag, its my dad "not overtaking" ;)
