before tho, Noddy had about 1.5 degrees POSITIVE camber, and toed in about the same amount, it looked appauling, and i noticed that I am wearing the outside edge of my tyres out on the rear.

So I had to have them!!!!

Plus the back end would slide out a little to easily for my liking!

ya think bingleys gonna get even more expensive hahahah and she gets better and better everytime i like

I'm not gonna be able to make that show I don't think, my mate is going mark-tkm so if I need anything I'll get him to get them!

And as for an update on the car, still not fixed him, and I'm busy the next two weekends so he is just left in the carport under a cover for the next 3 weeks

I havnt driven a classic mini since before Christmas, I'm have serious withdrawal issues!

Ya hopefully i get to see her in person soon and i hate not having a mini for a day let alone 3 weeks been busy on my estate this week :)

Well a quick update....

Only been driven once in all of 2012!

And to get him going my mum had to tow me to bump start as the battery was dead flat :S





My task for saturday is to grind off the captive nut and weld a new one on where the bolt sheered in the subby!



Then when the weather picks up, I wont be a pedestrian any more :)

Noddy is fully fixed now :) However I have run into another issue! I poped out on at small 40 mile round trip, knowing that I will need to fill up before I reached my girlfriends. I have "tempoarily misplaced" my keys so i took the spare. Only when I was 20 miles from home did I realise I dont have a spare fuel filler cap key Somehow he made it home, but I cant use him untill I find the keys!

I am undecided!

I think I want to put delux wheel arch trim on! Having seen the red estate a few posts up. and having to touch up all the chips on the lip. I think it may be worthwhile.

Does the delux trim from minisport fit the length of a LWB mini?

I picked up a 1275 on Friday night!
A+ out of a 91 cooper.


The car is in a state that I am really happy with, so now my spare pennies will be going on this engine.


Plans for the engine so far:

Rebore to +20 or 40

Possibly high comp pistons (can anyone tell me how much of an advantage they give?)

Roller tip rockers.

I love your estate, especially on the reverse rims. I personally think it will look better without the arch trim.

looking good buddy did you have to chop the front wings for the wheels as im gonna get reverse rims and lower mine as well :)
